7. How to achieve max download speed?
All files you download from our servers are .zip or .rar files. Softwares like WinRar can unzip them.
8. What if an Error occurs while unzipping the file?
If the file crashes or a CRC error occurs, please choose "Archives encoded and .exe files" while opening the file with WinZip. Or you may use software like ZipMagic and WinRar to repair the file before unzipping it.
In case both the above-mentioned methods do not work, you can also use MD5 Checksum to check the integrity of the file. MD5 Checksum can be found on our download page.
If Checksum is not exactly the same with the one at the download page, it means the file is not completely downloaded. You may try to re download the file!
9. What is MD5 and how to use it?
In cryptography, MD5 (Message-Digest algorithm 5) is a
widely used cryptographic hash function with a 128-bit
hash value. As an Internet standard (RFC 1321), MD5 has
been employed in a wide variety of security applications,
and is also commonly used to check the integrity of files.
An MD5 hash is typically a 32-character hexadecimal number.
Recently, a number of projects have created MD5 "rainbow
tables" which are easily accessible online, and can be
used to reverse many MD5 strings into their original meanings.
First, place the given MD5 checksum on the Clipboard (Ctrl
C or Edit...Copy) Run the MD5 Check Utility (MD5.Exe)
and this should automatically place the contents of the
Clipboard in for you (Paste option). If not, please ensure
that you have correctly copied the checksum to the Clipboard,
and then click on the Paste button. You can also use the
Paste facility for checking more than one MD5 checksum
without the need to re-run MD5.Exe (simply copy the next
desired checksum to the Clipboard and take the Paste option
to refresh the box...then the Browse option). Browse to
where your download is and select it by either double
left-mouse clicking on it or by highlighting it and taking
the 'Open' option.
